This Cookie Policy explains how Webley Global - FZCO ("we", "us" or "our") uses cookies and similar technologies on mattwebley.com and on pages, funnels, checkouts, courses, emails and services that link to this policy. It should be read together with our Privacy Policy, which explains how we handle personal information more generally.
1.1 Cookies are small text files placed on your browser or device when you visit a website. They allow the site, or a third party, to recognise your browser or device.
1.2 Similar technologies include pixels and web beacons (tiny images or code that record when a page or email is viewed), tags and scripts, local storage, software development kits, device and advertising identifiers, and server-side tracking tools such as the Meta Conversions API. In this policy, "cookies" includes all of these.
1.3 First-party cookies are set by us. Third-party cookies are set by other companies, such as our website platform, analytics providers and advertising platforms.
1.4 Session cookies are deleted when you close your browser. Persistent cookies stay on your device for a set period or until you delete them.
2.1 Strictly necessary. These are needed for the Website and Services to work and cannot be switched off in our systems. They support security, fraud prevention, page delivery, load balancing, form submission, logins, course access, checkout and remembering your cookie choices. Where the law allows, we use these without consent.
2.2 Preferences. These remember choices such as language, saved form entries, registration progress and display settings.
2.3 Analytics and performance. These help us understand how visitors find and use the Website, which pages perform well, how many people register for and attend events, and where people have problems, so that we can improve our content and Services.
2.4 Advertising and marketing. These help us and our advertising partners show relevant ads on other websites and platforms, measure whether an ad led to a visit, registration or purchase, limit how often you see an ad, build audiences of people who have visited our pages, and exclude existing customers from ads.
2.5 Email tracking. Our emails may contain pixels and tracked links that tell us whether an email was opened and which links were clicked. We use this to measure engagement, improve our emails and remove inactive subscribers. You can limit this by blocking images in your email client.
The tools active on our Website may change over time and may not be active on every page. Where enabled, the following are typical examples. Durations are set by the provider and may change.

Third-party providers process information under their own privacy policies and may use their technologies across many websites. We do not control how they use information they collect.
4.1 The Website does not currently provide an on-page cookie consent banner or preference centre. You can block or delete cookies through your browser settings and manage advertising preferences through the platform controls described below. We will update this policy if we add on-page consent controls.
4.2 You can delete cookies through your browser settings at any time. Deleting cookies does not affect processing that took place before deletion.
4.3 To request an opt-out of targeted advertising or the sharing of personal information where applicable, email matt@mattwebley.com with the subject line "Do Not Sell or Share".
4.4 Browser settings. Most browsers let you view, block and delete cookies. Help pages are available for Chrome, Safari, Firefox, Edge and other browsers. If you block all cookies, some parts of the Website, such as registration, login, course access and checkout, may not work.
4.5 Advertising settings. You can manage how ads are personalised for you through your Facebook and Instagram ad preferences and Google's My Ad Center. Industry opt-out tools are available at optout.aboutads.info (US), youradchoices.ca (Canada) and youronlinechoices.eu (EU). Opting out does not stop you seeing ads. It means ads may be less relevant to you.
4.6 Mobile devices. You can reset your advertising identifier or limit ad tracking in your device settings.
Some browsers send a "Do Not Track" signal. Because there is no common standard for how to respond to this signal, our Website does not currently respond automatically to a Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control signal.
We may update this policy when the tools we use, our practices or the law change. The date at the top shows when it was last updated.
